Engineer in Training (EIT)
Onalaska, Wisconsin
Purpose:
Makepeace Engineering is looking for a responsible, motivated EIT to add to our growing team based in Onalaska, Wisconsin. Ideal candidates for the position take initiative and are eager to learn.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an entry-level position. Candidate will work in both the public and private sector. Candidate will conduct topographic surveys using total station and GPS surveying equipment, assist with drafting and design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, attend meetings with clients, and be a fully functioning member of the team in every way.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Civil Engineering or a related engineering field. Registered Engineer-in-Training, or able to achieve registration within six months. Zero to four years of experience. Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D, total station and GPS surveying, construction inspection a plus.

Civil Engineer Intern (Summer 2023)
Onalaska, Wisconsin
Purpose:
To provide students in engineering or surveying programs of study with real world engineering experience.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will work closely with others, and will assist with varied day-to-day tasks such as field surveying using total station and GPS surveying equipment, drafting with Autocad software, and construction observation and inspection. The experience will benefit anyone looking to work in engineering or construction management.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in Civil Engineering or a related major
